The Economic Society of Australian (SA) Inc. (ESA South Australia) is a non-profit organisation that is committed to its objectives which include encouraging the study of economics and its application in Australia, encouraging informed public debate of economic and related questions and conducting seminars, symposia, conferences and other meetings to advance the objectives of ESA South Australia.
In meeting these objectives, ESA South Australia receives information from and about members and those who register for its events or enter information on ESA South Australia’s website. This information may include a person’s business address and telephone number, personal address and telephone number, post office box details, information about professional interests and qualifications, credit card and transactional information, date of birth and other information of a personal nature such as catering preferences.
ESA South Australia may use contact information to inform members, former members and those who have registered for events about Society functions and events.
