The Women in Economics Network (WEN) is launching in South Australia!

WEN has been formed to promote and support the career development of women in the economics profession in Australia.

The launch event is an opportunity to find out more about WEN and to connect with others in the economics profession, including women working in the private sector, government, academia and teaching.

Professor Tanya Monro, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research and Innovation, University of South Australia will interview our special guest, Carolyn Hewson AO, former investment banker and company director.  Carolyn will share insights into economics and the role of women.

Upon arrival and registration, light refreshments will be served in the contemporary Gallery 1 of the Samstag Museum and will include a brief introduction on the Samstag and the current exhibitions: Countercurrents and The Ocean After Nature
