The WEN has been formed to promote and support the career development of women in the economics profession in Australia.
This WEN event is an opportunity to connect with others in economics profession, including women working in the private sector, government, academia and teaching.
Wendy Craik AM, one of Australia's leading independent public policy advisers will be our special guest speaker. Wendy will share insights into developing policy responses to climate change and their implementation challenges. As with all WEN events, there will also be an opportunity to reflect on these issues from gender, diversity and equity perspectives.
Upon arrival and registration, light refreshment will be served in "the Barossa Room" at the Pricewaterhouse Coopers Offices.
Please note that attendance is free but registration is required and numbers are limited. Both women and men are welcome to attend the event.
We thank the University of South Australia and PwC (Pricewaterhouse Coopers) and SA AARES for their support of WEN and this event.
