SPECIAL INVITATION: WEN AGM, special address and networking event

The Women in Economics Network (WEN) formally invite members to its 2020 AGM. The AGM will be followed by an address by Heather Bailey, Senior Economist at BDO EconSearch, and networking over drinks and nibbles.

Address – What do fences, water and assistive technology have in common?

Hint: they’re all interesting topics to consider as an economics consultant! Heather Bailey will give us a taste of the work she does as a Senior Economist at BDO EconSearch, an Adelaide based economic consulting group. With more than 15 years’ experience in economics, carbon accounting and environmental sciences, Heather is proficient at integrating these specialist skill sets to deliver coherent projects and in communicating the outcomes to non-technical audiences. She has worked on projects across agriculture, water, carbon, marine resources and scientific research delivery for all levels of government, universities and industry associations, using techniques including cost benefit analysis/financial analysis, input-output analysis and carbon accounting.
