Join us for a special joint WEN SA and YEN SA breakfast event with Catherine de Fontenay from the Productivity Commission.

Catherine will be joining us for breakfast, sharing some insights into her work and taking part in an informal discussion, with plenty of opportunity to engage directly and ask questions.

Meet the speaker:

Catherine de Fontenay has been a Commissioner of the Productivity Commission since 2019, beginning a second term in 2024. She has led work on industry support and trade, productivity, inequality and mobility, the care sector, and the education sector. In 2025 she co-led the Pillar inquiry into A Skilled and Adaptable Workforce, and she is currently co-leading an inquiry into Regional Airfares and an inquiry into a possible safeguard action in fabricated structural steel.

This is a great opportunity to hear from and connect with a senior economist working at the forefront of Australian policy.
