DESCRIPTION:Join us for an exclusive Q&amp\;A session with Guy Debelle\, the Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of Australia.
This is a rare opportunity for our economics students to meet Guy\, and ask questions about one of the most important economist roles in the country.
The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) is Australia's central bank and its duty is to contribute to the stability of the currency\, full employment\, and the economic prosperity and welfare of the Australian people. It does this by setting the cash rate to meet an agreed medium-term inflation target\, working to maintain a strong financial system and efficient payments system\, and issuing the nation's banknotes.
This role is especially important in today&rsquo\;s uncertain banking environment. Guy Debelle started his career with an Economics honours degree from The University of Adelaide\, and jobs at the International Monetary Fund\, Bank for International Settlements\, Australian Treasury and as a visiting professor in economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
REGISTER NOW seats are limited!
Light refreshments will be provided.
